The HRI community is a global populace consisting of research experts and practitioners from multiple fields and backgrounds. Related fields of study include robotics, human-computer interaction, human factors, linguistics, philosophy, psychology, education, entertainment, medicine, materials, and more.
Your in-person conference registration fee includes access to all content during the symposium dates (March 9–10, 2024), including the electronic proceedings, presentations, poster sessions, panels, demonstrations, coffee/snack breaks, lunches, and the reception. VIrtual attendees will have access to live streams of presentations and panels.
At least one (1) author of an accepted paper must register for the symposium and present the paper in-person (i.e., papers will not be presented virtually). In the case that an author is on multiple papers, a single author registration can be used to represent no more than two (2) papers. All presenting authors must be registered by March 1st, 2024 AoE, or risk having their paper removed from the TAHRI program and proceedings.
Confirmed TAHRI partners (e.g., sponsors, exhibitors, etc.) will receive personalized codes for complimentary and discounted registration associated with their partnership tier. For inquiries regarding partner registration, please email the Partnership Chairs (chairs+partnership@tahri.org).
Conference fees are charged in USD and are inclusive of VAT. Your registration is not complete until payment has been received in full.
Students and attendees of the 2024 HRI conference are eligible to receive registration discounts for TAHRI! See below for details. Complimentary registration is available to volunteers or upon special request; to request complimentary registration and/or to sign up to volunteer at TAHRI, please complete the form here.
Refunds of 95% of your registration fee (100% of the cost of your registration minus a 5% service charge for payment processing) can be requested until March 8th, 2024 (i.e., the day before the TAHRI symposium start date). To request a refund, please complete the form here or email the Registration Chairs (chairs+registration@tahri.org).
We are aware that the payment processing system used for TAHRI registration (Stripe) has some limitations handling payments originating from India. If you encounter issues while registering, please email the Registration Chairs (chairs+registration@tahri.org), and we will provide you with alternative instructions for processing registration fees.

From DEN to Boulder is a 40-45 minute drive.

Take the AB1 bus to Downtown Boulder. This trip has intermediate stops, so it might take 1.25-1.5 hours.

Take the A-line train to downtown Denver Union Station, then transfer to the FF1 line for Downtown Boulder Station. This trip might take 1.5-2 hours.

Please contact the DEI Chairs (chairs+dei@tahri.org) at least one (1) week prior to TAHRI to request special accommodations. In all situations, a good faith effort (up until the time of the event) will be made to provide accommodations.
International registrants should be particularly aware and careful about visa requirements, and should plan travel well in advance. Check your visa requirements here.
If necessary, TAHRI is able to provide visa support letters for in-person attendees, including authors with accepted papers, invited speakers/panelists, partners, and members of the organizing committee. To request a letter in support of a visa application, please complete the visa request form here. Once we receive your request, we will attempt to issue a visa letter within five (5) business days.
Note that the visa invitation letter does not exempt attendees from complying with all requirements regarding registration and payment for their participation, travel, and accommodations. We take no responsibility should entry be denied by the United States government. Any cancellations due to visa refusal will be refunded per the cancellation policy.

TAHRI will provide a hybrid attendance option for those who cannot attend in-person. Main sessions will be live-streamed. At least one (1) author should plan to attend and present in-person at the event.

We are looking for volunteers to assist with symposium logistics and to generally aid TAHRI organizers and attendees. Dates available for volunteering include the two days of TAHRI (March 9–10, 2024), as well as the day before TAHRI (March 8, 2024) to help with setup. Volunteers will receive complimentary TAHRI registration—including all of the benefits that registration entails!
