The International Symposium on Technological Advances in Human-Robot Interaction (TAHRI) is the premiere symposium for HRI research focused on the advancement of the underlying technology enabling the interaction between a robot and a human. The inaugural event will be held on
March 9–10, 2024 in Boulder, Colorado, USA, two days before and co-located with the 2024 HRI conference.
TAHRI seeks novel, high-quality technological HRI contributions from a broad range of perspectives, including, but not limited to, robots, platforms, hardware, software, sensors, actuators, perception, control, algorithms, models, mechanisms, methods, interfaces, architectures, frameworks, benchmarks, datasets, tools, techniques, or other technologies that, with reasonable effort, can be incorporated into the design, development, or deployment of an HRI system.
of technological HRI researchers spanning academia, industry, government, and other research groups
in which technological HRI researchers can gather in one venue, rather than be spread out across many
for community-driven solutions to program-related challenges in disseminating technological HRI work
For technological HRI work intended to go through a full peer-review process
For technological HRI work that was previously reviewed and additional review materials can be provided
For technological HRI work with preliminary results or details of accessible artifacts
